Disney just announced at D23, in Anaheim, CA that two new attractions will be added to Epcot and should be open for the 50th Anniversary in 2021.

The rumors are true!  The Universe of Energy  will be turned into a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.  The current ride will close on August 13, 2017.

Epcot’s brand new E-ticket attraction will be based on the rockin’ and action-packed world of “Guardians of the Galaxy” and is the next step in how guests can encounter these characters at the Walt Disney World Resort.

They even put and 80’s Peter Quill in front of Spaceship Earth.  Love it!

In addition to the Guardians ride Disney/Pixar’s Ratatouille will indeed be added to the France Pavilion in the World Showcase.  It will be similar to the 4D attraction in Disneyland Paris called Ratatouille: The Adventure
