A New Exhibit Is Coming To The American Heritage Gallery in Epcot

The American Heritage Gallery at the American Adventure pavilion at Epcot will soon be hosting a new exhibit.

Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art will be coming this summer. This new exhibit will be a collaboration between the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) in Sante Fe, New Mexico and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) in Washington D.C.

This exhibit will be featuring several artists like Loren Aragon (Acoma Pueblo) a fashion designer, Glenda McKay (Ingalik-Athabascan) who’s a doll maker, and Juanita Growing Thunder (Assiniboine Sioux) from the Growing Thunder family of Montana.

The new exhibit will contain interactive parts for guests to learn about the creative process and inspirations behind their works.
