Every year guests look forward to the incredible Disney Halloween merchandise at the parks. This year is no exception!
Let’s take a look at some of the fantastic Mickey Mouse pieces for this year!
You can find Mickey on everything from t-shirts, to necklaces, to light up ears and Dan Howard, Senior Creative Director with the Disney Creative Group talked about the new merchandise:
Mickey Mouse-shaped pumpkins are found everywhere during the Halloween season at Disney Parks including merchandise. This Disney icon, mixed with playful character artwork, is an excellent foundation for this year’s collection as it’s something guests will remember from their visit.
New products, including the adorable all-over prints, are joining old favorites, like the Mickey Mouse votive holder and popcorn buckets, for the Disney Halloween line this year.
The ghost Mickey mug is especially cute in person!
Graphic designers and character artists selected Halloween-inspired colors – purple, orange, black and gray – reminiscent of vintage trick-or-treat bags. This limited color palette is best seen on products decorated with Disney characters in colorful costumes.
This year Mickey and Minnie are dressed as the classic vampire and witch. You can find them on several pieces merchandise for this year’s Disney Halloween, including the countdown-to-Halloween clock, ornaments, and a welcome mat. The Goofy mummy is made from sturdy felt and glows in the dark.
The pieces and the art style is very fun. They character designs make you smile.
Merchandise Strategy Manager, Summer Bloomfield explained the whimsical nature of this years items:
