‘American Music Machine’ No More: Epcot’s a capella group ends performances

Bad news for fans of Epcot’s fantastic a cappella group The American Music Machine. The group gave its final performance in the America Gardens Theatre on September 29.

Debuting in 2015 to capitalize on the rising popularity of a capella music (thanks in part to films like Pitch Perfect) the group entertained Walt Disney World guests with several shows per day, singing classic American pop songs.

Epcot’s street performers are one of the most unique parts of a visit to the World Showcase. It’s a shame to see them go.

Thankfully, we still have the incredible Voices of Liberty across the way in the American Adventure Rotunda.

I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. As a former newspaper editor, web developer, and Disney comics freelancer, I'm able to combine that experience into writing about Disney online. I'm also the co-host of a Disney fan podcast called 'Pirates & Princesses.' Opinions mine.
