Animated Pre-Show Safety Video Added to Splash Mountain

In an effort to increase efficiency and load times, Disney has added a new pre-show safety video to Splash Mountain in Walt Disney World.

The video features some too-cute animal critters and explains to guests that they should stow away hats and personal items, only site two to three to a row and use the lapbar.

WDW News Today has posted the new video on YouTube, and you can watch it below.

According to WDWNT, the new video is displayed on screens located toward the end of the line where the Standby and FastPass lines meet, and also right before the load area.

Needless to say, you don’t want to stand up when going down the drop.

I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. As a former newspaper editor, web developer, and Disney comics freelancer, I'm able to combine that experience into writing about Disney online. I'm also the co-host of a Disney fan podcast called 'Pirates & Princesses.' Opinions mine.
