Disney World’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ to Close in February to Add New Auction Scene

Who wants the Redhead? If you want to see her as part of the (now infamous) “Wench Auction” then you’ll need to visit Walt Disney World before February 26, 2018. That’s when Disney plans to take Pirates of the Caribbean offline for a fairly lengthy refurbishment.

When it returns on March 19, the classic auction scene will have been replaced with the controversial update that sees the Redhead become a pirate herself, overseeing a “loot auction.”

The new scene debuted in Disneyland Paris earlier this year, and you can watch it for yourself below.
