If you’re visiting Walt Disney World this Easter weekend, there are a lot of special events you’ll want to check out. Here’s a concise rundown of Easter activities in Disney World.
Easter Services at Walt Disney World
There will be Easter Sunday services at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the Fantasia Ballroom. Catholic Mass is at 8am and 10:30am, and a Protestant service takes place at 9:15am.
Extended Easter Week Events in the Magic Kingdom
Due to the crazy crowds during Easter week, there are extended hours for many events going on in the Magic Kingdom.
- Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny Meet and Greet in the Town Square Courtyard, 9am to 6 pm daily
- Stitch’s Great Escape is open again until April 19th
- Two performances of the Festival of Fantasy Parade at 12pm and 3:30 pm through April 20th
- Easter “Pre-Parade” before the Festival of Fantasy Parade (April 15th and April 16th only at 11:40 am and 3:10 pm)
- DJ Dance Party in Tomorrowland from 3pm to 11pm (ends April 20th)
Epcot Easter Eggstravaganza
It’s an Easter egg hunt, Disney-style! The Epcot Eggstravaganza began with the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival last month, but it’s a perfect Easter weekend activity. Egg hunter are given a map in the Epcot World Showcase, and will hunt “eggs” of some of their favorite Disney characters. The eggs are pretty huge, and tucked away in some unique locations all over Epcot.
To participate, purchase a map and sticker sheet for at Pin Central Future World, Disney Traders or World Traveler for $5.99 plus tax. When you find all of the eggs, you’ll be given a choice of a Disney Easter egg to keep. Pretty cool, huh?
Easter Baskets from Disney Springs
