This week the Magic Eye Theater has been closed for renovations to the Disney and Pixar’s Short Film Festival Attraction.   It will be closed from June 12 through June 18th and will re-open on June 19th.

When it re-opens there will be two “new” short films run, with 3-D effects, along with Get a Horse.   The previous two films For the Birds and La Luna will be replaced.

Disney has been a big part of my life for years--from family trips to WDW to growing up on Disney classics, TV, and movies. I'm a mom and an art teacher. I love to share my love for Disney and I'm also a co-host of the Disney fan podcast Pirates and Princesses (PNP.) Opinions, like my freckles, are all mine.

  1. I’m glad to see they’re replacing two of the films and keeping “Get a Horse”. “Get a Horse” is a must-see Disney cartoon. It uses everything from Walt’s voice for Mickey Mouse in circa black and white 1930 style to modern color and, as I recall, 3-D. Highly entertaining and creative.
