Set to open in August 2018, we finally get a first look at Universals Orlando’s Aventura Hotel. “Universal’s Aventura Hotel will offer guests yet another value priced option when choosing from the wide range of on-site hotels at Universal Orlando Resort.” This new hotel will neighbor Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
Aventura Hotel Details
The 16-story gleaming glass tower will consist of 600 guest rooms, including 13 kids’ suites. It will bring the total number of on-site hotel rooms at Universal Orlando to 6,200 when combined with the 400-room expansion of Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort opened in May 2017.
Today, Megan Hiram, a design manager for Universal Creative, provided us with first look at the guest rooms at Universal’s sixth on-site Resort, Aventura Hotel.
Megan writes in her latest blog post.
I can see myself walking through one of the 600 guest room doors and being greeted by warm wood floors and a sleek design. We selected light wood and white furniture pieces with black trim to anchor the room and added rich pops of eggplant and burnt orange to bring the design together. The floor to ceiling decorative glass panels provide not only a really cool visual element, but also privacy at the vanity.
Speaking of floor to ceiling glass, just wait until you see these views! We included floor to ceiling windows in the design to make the rooms feel bright and airy while giving guests views of all three Universal Orlando Resort theme parks. There will be no shortage of interest at the furthest end of the room. And with Aventura reaching higher than any other hotel we have at our destination, you may even be able to plan out your day just by looking out the window.
If you want a more up close view to plan, check out the tablet in the room. Loaded with the Official Universal Orlando Resort App, you can check park maps, park hours and even wait times. Add in controlling the TV and thermostat and ordering a late night pizza with the tablet, and you’re all set!
“If you book your stay right now, you can take advantage of a free $50 hotel dining credit on a stay of four to six nights. Or go all out and book a seven-night stay for a free $100 dining credit.” Our sponsor Academy Travel and MickeyVacations.com can help you take advantage of this special offer.
