Free Disney Dining: Disney Releases 2017 Free Dining Dates for Walt Disney World

The much anticipated 2017 Walt Disney World Free Dining promotion is live. As in past years, Disney is offering free meals plans on select travel packages to the resort. However, the offer is slightly different than in past years, with only stays at Deluxe Resorts getting the Standard Disney Dining Plan, and both Value and Moderate Resorts getting the Quick Service Dining Plan. Disney travel agents will no doubt be very busy today shuffling plans for their clients.

Here are the details:

  • Travelers must purchase a non-discounted 5 day/6 night stay at Walt Disney World with a Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus option
  • Booking window is April 24, 2017 through July 7, 2017
  • Travel dates are 8/21 through 9/30, 11/14 through 11/20, 11/25 through 11/27, 12/8 through 12/23.
  • Deluxe Resorts get the Standard Disney Dining Plan, Value and Moderate Resort stays get the Quick Service Dining Plan

Since Disney releases a set number of rooms for this promotion based on demand, it’s unclear how long this offer will be available for. If you’re looking to take advantage of Disney’s free dining promotion, we’d recommend contacting an authorized Disney travel agent, such as Academy Travel, as soon as possible to check on availability.

I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. As a former newspaper editor, web developer, and Disney comics freelancer, I'm able to combine that experience into writing about Disney online. I'm also the co-host of a Disney fan podcast called 'Pirates & Princesses.' Opinions mine.
