‘Frozen’ on Broadway: Musical to Feature Four New Songs


Just in case you’ve finally gotten “Let it Go” out of your head, the Frozen musical may offer up a few new earworms.

The Broadway version of Disney’s 2013 animated hit will reportedly feature four new tracks, and they will be trickled out over the next few weeks.

The new songs are written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the same husband and wife team that wrote the music for the film. They will begin dropping on FrozenTheMusical.com once per week beginning on February 23.

  • “What Do You Know About Love?” (a duet between Anna and Kristoff)
  • “True Love” (Anna)
  • “Monster” (Elsa)
  • “Dangerous to Dream” (Elsa)

It’s been a busy year for the Lopezes, and they recently scored an Oscar nomination for Coco’s “Remember Me” and are currently writing the music for Frozen 2.

Frozen: The Musical debuts on February 22 at the St. James Theater in New York City.  It stars Caissie Levy as Elsa, Patti Murin as Anna, Jelani Alladin as Kristoff and John Riddle as Hans.
