‘Incredibles 2’ Starts Where First One Left Off

People have been waiting to hear more about the upcoming Incredibles 2 film.   At D23 the cast was on stage for the Pixar Panel to let us know what to expect.

First off most of the cast is all returning for the second film *yay!*  Including:

Collider.com posted some more information with quotes from John Lasseter.

“It starts right as the first one finishes, so it just carries on. …It starts with the Underminer and a big old set piece. You know that at the end of the first movie when he comes up and you see the family dressed as superheroes, well that’s where start this movie.”

And, it looks like John Ratzenberger will continue his Pixar character/cameo streak.  He was the voice of the Underminer in the first Incredibles movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mrs. Incredible will be the star of this film with Bob staying at home with the baby.

Bird revealed the that Elastigirl, not Mr. Incredible, will be the star of this film, as she will be off adventuring and her husband will be home with the baby….Bird also showed off the first footage to the eager crowd. The first clip (a work in progress), showed Jack Jack as he wanders outdoors after his dad falls asleep. There, he shows off his new new-found superpowers as he gets into a confrontation with a raccoon. His trick? He can multiply.

I love the concept art they released for D23

I can’t wait to see this movie.  We’ve been waiting for a sequel for a long time, the first one came out in 2004, but luckily we don’t have much longer to wait.  The Incredibles 2 will release to theaters June 15, 2018.

What do you think about the new movie?  Comment and let us know what you think!
