John Williams Might Be Returning to Score the Music for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

The current rumor involving Galaxy’s Edge is that the original music composer for the Star Wars Films, John Williams, might be returning to do the music for the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge parks at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

He is rumored to be working with Michael Giacchino (music for: Rogue One film, Ratatouille attraction, Incredicoaster attraction) again on the project that will include area and attraction music for the 14 acre park expansions.  Previously they worked on the music for Star Tours – The Adventure Continues.

This is the perfect team to have on a project as large and important as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The new Star Wars offering is currently set to open at Disneyland in summer of 2019 and Walt Disney World in the Fall of 2019.  Stay tuned for more details.
