Kingdom Hearts III: Update From Recent #KH3Premiere Media Event

Kingdom Hearts III is getting closer and closer to finally becoming a reality.

Last Thursday a media preview event was held for select gaming media and fans, and some new details about the game play have been released. Those who had hands-on time with the game were able to play two levels based on Hercules and Toy Story.

Disney Parks Attractions Represented

Perhaps one of the most exciting things for us (given the nature of the blog) is that Disney Parks attractions will influence some of the in-game summons. Shown are pics of the “Big Magic Mountain” railroad, which looks like a cross between Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the train float from the beloved Main Street Electrical Parade.

Like previous Kingdom Hearts games, character summons return. This time you can expect Ariel and Wreck-It Ralph among others.

New gameplay mechanics that will be introduced in Kingdom Hearts III includes the ability to run alongside walls, as well as the ability to transform your Keyblade into powerful new weapons based on different Disney characters and movies.
