Yesterday the Star Wars account on Twitter posted this:

The official synopsis

When you follow the link to the official Star Wars page the following synopsis is posted:

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”

It’s good to see something.  The movie is coming out on May 25, 2018 and there really hasn’t been much put out there about it other than Ron Howard’s posts on Twitter and Instagram. The Star Wars site posted a link to a compilation of all his posts HERE.

The trailer was supposed to drop on Monday January 15, 2018, but it was delayed. Hoping to see a trailer soon. It’s a bit odd that it’s only four months out and there hasn’t been any trailers.

The toys from The Last Jedi and Rogue One came out it the September before the film release. Three months ahead. The only thing we’ve seen was the leaked title that showed up in some LEGO toy order brochure a few months ago. Those images were promptly removed (as seen in the article.)

Since that removal we do know there are these 5 set numbers coming 75207, 75209, 75210, 75211, 75212 sometime in April.  There is some info out there that escaped the purge, I am linking photos and information. So possible spoilers below.

75207 is an Imperial Patrol Battle Pack.

This eludes to “Imperial Entanglements.” The rumor is that Han rescues Chewie from an Imperial camp, and Vader will appear. Again, this is purely rumor. Retail is $14.99

75209 is Han Solo’s Landspeeder

There are three figures: Han Solo, Corellian Hound (Han is a Corellian) and another female figure Qi’Ra. Retail should be around $29.99.

75210 is Moloch’s Landspeeder.

So two landspeeders (must be a landspeeder sequence.) This set has 4 figures: Moloch, a blond female with a whip called “Rebolt” It’s hard to make out her name, so that might not be it. And 2 Corellian Hounds. Retail should be $49.99.

75211 is the Imperial TIE Fighter set.

There are 4 figures in this set: A Mimban Stormtrooper (is this the wookie internment planet? Mimban?) Imperial Pilot, Han Solo (in something that looks a lot like an At-At commander outfit), and a Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson) figure. Retail should be about $69.99.

75212 is the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon!

Yes! Kessel Run Falcon!  So it looks like we will be getting a Kessel Run in the film (YES!) Now this Falcon looks considerably different that the Millennium Falcon we usually see. First of all it looks newer. It has blue stripes, and it has a pointed front end that is one piece, not the usual split piece. Rumor is Han redesigns the front to take on the Kessel Run. Either way, we will find out in May!

This set is large. It contains minifigures: Qi’Ra, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, Quay Tolsite, Kessel Operations Droid, DD-BD  Retail should be $169.99

We still don’t have a trailer, and there aren’t a lot of leaked toy images (other than the Lego ones, that were taken down in August 2017. Still no official poster (except for that leaked one) yet.  Fans are disappointed and worried about the lack of a trailer, and getting a written synopsis instead. With the re-shoots, the rumor that Alden Ehrenreich needed an acting coach, and lack of info, fans are beginning to question how good this film will be.

Here’s hoping we can get a trailer soon, because I am really excited about this film and I hope it’s worth the wait.
