Disney’s Minnie Van Pricing to Change to Per-Mile Beginning September 10?

It’s being reported that the pricing structure for Walt Disney World’s popular Minnie Van service will be changing beginning on September 10.

WDWNT states that the service will change from a flat rate of $25 to a base rate of $15 plus an as-of-yet unannounced per mile charge.

This could be good news for Guests traveling short distances, as $25 was pretty steep to ride from Epcot to Caribbean Beach. However, longer rides may wind up costing Guests more than $25.

The Minnie Vans are a ride-sharing service operated by Walt Disney World and managed via the Lyft app. Minnie Vans first started appearing at select resorts last year, and now operate all over Disney property and also make trips to and from MCO.

I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. As a former newspaper editor, web developer, and Disney comics freelancer, I'm able to combine that experience into writing about Disney online. I'm also the co-host of a Disney fan podcast called 'Pirates & Princesses.' Opinions mine.
