Missing Hocus Pocus Merchandise Appears at Disney World For Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Back before Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) began, the Disney Parks Blog posted images of merchandise featuring the Sanderson Sisters.  But then, when the first party occurred the items were no where to be found.  This led to various stories about where the merchandise was.

Finally, according to Chip and Co, the items have appeared during the Mickey’s Now So Scary Halloween Party Event.

But what’s really interesting…they aren’t the same art from the original photos.  Could there have been an issue somehow with the original designs that caused the new art to be completely different?  That would explain the extra month lag in the merchandise appearing and why the Parks Blog removed the original article from their site.

Here are two of the shirts shown by Chip and Co.

Here’s the images of the original art that was supposed to be used.

They are distinctly different.  Now there are ornaments with the new design too, but not the other items like pins, magic bands, and decorations, that were shown originally.

Not sure if any other merchandise is coming, but I have to wonder if they will release much more, with it being October and only a month or so left of the party.  If they do release it, they will most likely have the new art style on them.

What do you think?  Do you like the new art or the original art better?  Comment and let us know.
