No Dogs Allowed: Disney World Ending Pet-Friendly Program in October

Last year Disney announced that dogs would be welcomed at select Disney resorts. Now they have announced that the program will end on October 15, 2018.

According to WDWNT, Disney had planned the dog-friendly service as a test program, and it is coming to an official end… for now.

While many Disney enthusiasts loved the idea of being able to bring their pooch with them on vacation, the decision wasn’t without its share of controversy. Some Guests felt uncomfortable with the prospect of allergies, fleas and other pet-related messes.

Disney will still allow you to bring your dog with you to Walt Disney World if you booked your vacation before October 15, 2018.
