RUMOR – Disney Will Start Streaming Fireworks to Resort Rooms?

Will Disney Parks guests soon be able to stream Happily Ever After into their Walt Disney World resort hotel rooms?

It’s possible, and something that Disney is definitely considering if a new survey is any indicator.

Thanks to WDW News Today, we might have a sneak peek at some new online services being considered for room guests.

Here is what the survey says…

  • Welcome sequence: upon entering your room, the lights slowly turn on. curtains open automatically, a short musical accompaniment plays. and a welcome message with your FastPass+ itinerary appears on the TV.
  • Character greeting: a brief animated video featuring your character of choice welcoming you to the resort plays on a separate television screen themed to look like a framed picture.
  • Immersive on-demand movies: the TV screen displays a list of on-demand Disney movies recommended based on FastPass+ reservations. Color-changing light bulbs and a star projector are used to create an immersive experience in the room themed to the movies.
  • Live feed of nighttime spectaculars: see video of Magic Kingdom fireworks accompanied by the appropriate music heard in the park. • Photoff6se, pictures displayed: see PhotoPass pictures from your day displayed on the TV.

And here is a photo of the actual survey.
