Pandora the World of Avatar

It’s being rumored that Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to sign up for a preview of Pandora – The World of Avatar. The highly anticipated expansion of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is not scheduled to open to the public until May 27, but according to WDW News Today Annual Passholders may be able to sign up for a sneak peak beginning April 8th or 9th.

Disney offered Annual Passholders a preview of its new nighttime spectacular Rivers of Light a few weeks before its debut, so it’s not unprecedented.

The Secret World of Pandora?

During most of its construction, Disney has been fairly secretive about the specifics of what awaits guests in Pandora. However, they’ve been slowly lifting the curtain over the past few weeks with promotion on ABC shows such as The View and Nightline. They’ve also been strategically releasing a series of video interviews and behind-the-scenes looks into this new addition on the Disney Parks blog and social media.

Pandora – The World of Avatar officially opens on May 27, 2017.

I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. As a former newspaper editor, web developer, and Disney comics freelancer, I'm able to combine that experience into writing about Disney online. I'm also the co-host of a Disney fan podcast called 'Pirates & Princesses.' Opinions mine.
