Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge New Trees and Progress Shots From Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We were just down at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort and we got some videos of the construction going on for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on April 20th.

When we went to Grand Avenue to get some shots we were surprised to see that they have installed trees around the gate area. I’m sure part of it is for landscaping but most of it is for blocking the construction view.

Over by Pixar Place you can see the Galaxy’s Edge Construction at the end of the street, but they do have it roped off, I believe for the Toy Story Midway Mania’s temporary Fast Pass line.

We got some video, but it’s hard to make it out. There were men working in orange vests on one of the spires.  You can make out some of it at the end of the street. Live video makes it appear farther away.

But there’s a great site called Hollywood Studios HQ that puts “behind the scenes” photos up so we can get a better look! When we were there the guys building them were up on the scaffolds.

They have a BUNCH of photos over there so here’s a link if you want to check it out!

Also @bioreconstruct on Twitter added some aerial shots a few days ago. Keep following his account for more aerial construction shots!
