The US Winter Olympics Ski and Snowboarding Teams Are Suiting Up with Marvel

The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, will see some Marvel inspired gear. The US Olympic ski and snowboard teams will be wearing ski outfits inspired by Captain Marvel and Captain America.

The snow gear is a collaboration between Marvil and Spyder. Spyder is the official team supplier and they just announced a two year deal with Disney to make these amazing super-hero products for athletes. They are designed by retired Olympic gold medalist Julia Mancuso.

This isn’t the first time the suits have been seen though, they did appear last year at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championship in St. Moritz, Switzerland.  It’s the first time a lot of people are seeing them and they are amazing!

Both the men’s and women’s teams will be suiting up with these Disney-Spyder products.

There was a lot of discussion over the Captain Marvel suit for the upcoming film. The suit in the film will actually be green and black instead of the traditional colors we are seeing in these ski suits, but they are the comic book colors.  Either way it’s really cool.
