Walt Disney World Offers ‘Preferred’ Parking Spots at Disney Springs


Walt Disney World announced on Twitter they will be offering ‘premium parking spaces’ at Disney Springs for $10, starting today, June 1, 2017.

These new ‘preferred’ spots will be located in the Lemon Lot (by the Marketplace) and Grapefruit Lot (by the West Side.)

For $20, valet parking is also available at Disney Springs. It’s located near the entrance to the Orange Garage.

Paid Parking all over the ‘World?’

Disney began offering Premium Parking at its theme parks in March of 2016 at a cost of $40.

There’s been some speculation that Disney will begin to charge for parking at its resort hotels, as many other major hotel chains in Orlando charge for parking. However, Guests note that staying at a Disney resort often costs more than staying off property, and that free parking is one of the perks that sways their decision to stay on property.

Disney has not yet announced any plans to charge for parking at the resorts, premium or otherwise.
