Walt Disney World Prepping ‘Happily Ever After’ Nighttime Show for May 12 Debut

With only one week left to go, Disney is putting the finishing touches on its newest castle projection and fireworks show, Happily Ever After. The new show will replace the long-running Wishes nighttime spectacular beginning on May 12.

The Disney Parks Blog has posted a new video that gives us a a behind the scenes sneak peak of the third regular “castle show” in Magic Kingdom.

The new show will feature hand drawn, 2D animation as well as a brand new theme song created specifically for the show. The show will also include characters from newer Disney films such as Moana, The Princess and the Frog and Zootopia.

Happily Ever After opens in Disney’s Magic Kingdom on May 12, 2017.
