So, if we’ve seen the backside of water, is Jungle Cruise now showing the underside?
Today at the Magic Kingdom, reports of a Jungle Cruise boat sinking. What’s even worse is, there were passengers in it!
Witnesses documented the mishap on social media, showing guests still standing inside the boat as the murky water slowly rose around their legs.
Fortunately, All those on board were safely rescued, but later images captured the vessel nearly completely submerged, its canopy roof still visible and what appears to be a lone park employee on board.
The Reedy Creek Fire Department was called and acted swiftly to make sure all guests were safe.
Disney’s website describes the beloved attraction as a “journey that you won’t soon forget.” I guess they meant it!
After being down for 105 minutes, Jungle Cruise was operating again and welcoming passengers. I’d also like to acknowledge the well trained Cast Members and Reedy Creek Fire Department for conducting themselves in such a way where no guests were injured and the ride could re-open.
