Disneyland can reopen as early as April 1, however Bob Chapek has announced that due to the amount of time it will take to recall Cast Members to work and retrain them to meet California’s standards it may take some extra time to reopen. Chapek is hopeful to reopen Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure by late April. An official opening date will be announced in the coming weeks. Also we are all reminded that only California residents will be able to have access to the parks upon inital reopening.

A couple of Shareholders also asked about when the Disney College Program would resume and also if there will be a temporary exception for those individuals that have surpassed the age limit and didn’t get to participate last year due to COVID-19. Chapek acknowledged that was a great question (one they hadn’t thought about) and that they will make an announcement on that soon. He also stated that he is hopeful the Disney College Program will be able to resume by the end of this year!
