Artist Rendering of the New 15-Story Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Last year Disney announced a large new expansion for the Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort that would open sometime in summer 2019.

Today Disney has posted and artist rendering of the new project as well as some new details!

The showpiece of the new expansion is a new 15-story tower that will add 545 guest rooms (50 of those will be suites) to the resort area. This new tower will also be the new entry area to the Coronado Springs resort. It will include a two-story lobby and on top of the tower there will be a new table-service restaurant.

It isn’t stopping with the new tower. The rest of the resort is being “refreshed.” The 1,800+ rooms have been fully updated and another new restaurant will be added to the island in the middle of the large 14-acre lake at the resort. There will also be new walkways and a “fresh, sophisticated color palette,” to help to “tie” it all together.

It looks and sounds amazing! I can’t wait to check it out when it’s all finished!
