Blue Bayou Now Accepting Walk-Ins for Lunch and Dinner!

Exciting news over at Disneyland! Blue Bayou, a popular waterfront dining restaurant, is now accepting walk-ins for lunch and dinner! Disneyland goers have expressed frustrations over the past year on how hard it is to get a reservation at this restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. They recently shut down for refurbishments, and many have been waiting to hear when the restaurant would open back up. Now it seems like they are opening their doors once again, and for the first time, it may be easier to be a walk-up diner since they won’t accept reservations again until later.

If you’re interested in dining at Blue Bayou, you just need to put your name in at the podium in front of the restaurant or check in the mobile app.

Blue Bayou is open for lunch and dinner and they are especially known for their Monte Cristo sandwiches. Their menu has changed up a bit since reopening after the closure from the pandemic, and some have even criticized that the quality of the food has gone downhill drastically. Their Monte Cristos are also no longer available at dinner, so if you want one of these delightful deep-fried sandwiches, you will want to go during their lunch time. They have also added a delicious-looking Filet Mignon to their menu along with an Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon Salad, Hearts of Palm Escabéche, and more!

Blue Bayou has been one of the most popular spots to dine at the Park since its opening in 1967. Its mystical setting takes you into the heart of the South, and it’s the perfect date spot, a place for friends and family to gather and celebrate special occasions. The ambiance alone is worth the dining experience! Colorful strings of balloon lanterns cast an enchanting glow across the dining room, and guests can enjoy the outdoorsy feel as they hear crickets chirp, frogs croak, and fireflies wink in the dark. This has been one of my favorite spots to dine for quite some time, and I can’t wait to experience some of the new menu items myself. Let us know in the comments what your favorite meal is at Blue Bayou!,
