We’re getting closer and closer to spooky season and now theme parks are starting to announce their Halloween events for 2021! Halloween is my personal favorite holiday of the year, so every announcement that gets made I get more and more excited (especially since so many events were canceled last year due to COVID)!

Busch Gardens announced today that they will be bringing back haunted houses this year for their Howl-O-Scream event! This year, the event will run from September 10 to October 31 at 7pm nightly. Here is the official description of the event from their website:

TERRIFYING HAUNTED HOUSES ARE BACK WITH A VENGEANCE FOR MORE FRIGHT-FILLED NIGHTS

Tampa’s premier Halloween event returns earlier than ever for 28 killer nights with scare zones and haunted houses, including two ALL-NEW haunted house experiences.

Fear returns to its most immersive form with the return of iconic horror-filled haunted houses to terrify guests at Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream, Tampa Bay’s BIGGEST haunt event. Park guests will find nowhere to hide as zombies, deranged clowns, werewolves and new surprises stalk their prey throughout eight scare zones, and unpredictable roaming hordes lurk in the darkness. Beyond the haunts, killer entertainment can be found on stage with “Fiends!” returning to the Festival Field and last year’s best-kept-secret “The Rolling Bones” performing electrifying rock covers at Dragon Fire Grill.

As usual, Howl-O-Scream is a separate ticketed night event, and tickets are on sale now! Prices vary by date and range from $29.99 per person to $44.99 per person for a single-night tickets. Busch Gardens is also offering an “unlimited admission” ticket for $79.99.

Busch Gardens will have 5 terrifying haunted houses. The dark minds that created the haunted houses have been brewing up new ways to scare their guests, so there will be two new haunted houses this year! Plus, three fan-favorite frights will come back from the dead to consume guests with fear in all-new ways. Beware-Even the most experienced Howl-O-Scream fans will encounter unexpected fears and frights throughout the night!

The fun doesn’t stop there though! There will be 8 scare zones where new terrors will lurk in every corner of the park. Plus, with roaming hordes and a new unmarked zone, frights await at every twist and turn!

2 fan-favorite shows will also return this year. According to the Busch Gardens website the raunchy monster dance party, Fiends,  will return to its spacious outdoor venue for more devilish antics from Dr. Freakenstein and his gang of ghouls. Guests can also fuel up on a pre-fear feast with the return of the The Rolling Bones. This skeleton band lights up Dragon Fire Grill with live performances and epic covers classic rock anthems.

Just from the below teaser video alone, I have chills! Beware, it is quite terrifying…

Are you excited for a frightfully good time at Busch Garden Howl-O-Scream this year?!
