The holidays at Universal Orlando Resort transform the parks and hotels into a winter wonderland of joy, music, lights, and unforgettable moments. From mid-November through early January, guests can experience festive flair across both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure — and it’s all included with park admission (with optional add-ons for extra magic).
What to Expect
-
Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s in Studios: giant balloons, seasonal floats, and appearances by beloved characters — it’s a spectacle you won’t want to miss.
-
Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade sparkle under holiday décor. Enjoy seasonal shows like Celestina Warbeck or the Frog Choir, and end the night with the Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle projection show.
-
Grinchmas at Seuss Landing (Islands of Adventure): Who-ville comes alive with festive décor, meet-and-greet opportunities with the Grinch, and the heartwarming Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular stage show.
-
The Holiday Tribute Store (Studios): step through themed rooms—think Hogsmeade, Grinch’s world, and Earl the Squirrel’s tale—to shop immersive seasonal merchandise.
-
Holiday Tree Hunt: a scavenger hunt across the parks with stamped cards and a festive reward at the end.
Festive Dining & Tour Experiences
One of the special add-ons is the Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast at Islands of Adventure (select dates). You can dine with Whos and the Grinch himself over pancakes, waffles, and other breakfast favorites. Pricing is $58.99 for adults and $32.99 for kids (plus tax).
Another magical option is Universal’s Holiday Tour — a guided, after-hours experience that includes reserved parade seating, a meet-and-greet with Grinch & Max, holiday bites & desserts, and priority access to one attraction. Tours typically start around $79.99.
