Did you know about all the cool kid’s clubs onboard the Disney Wish? There is a space for every age on this cruise ship, INCLUDING a spot for tweens ages 11-14. I had a chance to do a tour of the club on my recent voyage on the Disney Wish, and let me just say it made me wish I was a tween again so I could hang out in there!
Located on Deck 5, Aft, Edge is the perfect hangout for young cruisers. While enjoying stunning views of the ocean and gorgeous blue skies, tweens can have a blast making new friends, playing games, watching movies, and engaging in creative activities with other cruisers their age. The club is equipped with high-tech entertainment, including flat-screen TVs, computers, and video games. They also offer daily guided activities; this interactive play space is bound to become your tween’s favorite on-ship destination!
Edge hosts a range of engaging daily activities led by cool Disney counselors. From ship-wide scavenger hunts to imaginative role-playing, these high-energy interactive games are designed to inspire creativity, bonding and teamwork.
Activities may include:
- That’s Hilarious: In the spirit of the Disney Channel hit So Random!, tweens learn the basics of improv and scene interaction to create and rehearse their own comedy show using special effects, costumes and camera tricks. Then it’s show time, as they perform live for other teens in the club!
- Heroes and Villains: During this ship-wide adventure, put your athleticism and intellect to the test! Teams compete to solve clues, complete challenges, and ultimately win a final prize.
- Crowning of the Couch Potato: Put your movie knowledge to the ultimate test in this outrageous trivia contest.
- A Pirate’s Life for Me: Arrre you pirate enough? Compete in physical challenges and answer trivia questions about scalawags and buccaneers of yore to see who will claim the infamous Pearl.
- Descendant’s Den DJ Spin-Off – Photo Booth! DJ lessons! Fun games! Sing! Dance! Laugh! It’s the next generation of fun—Descendants-style!
Edge is open daily, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM. Operating hours may vary though, so be sure to check the Personal Navigator newsletter or Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app while onboard the ship for exact hours.
