According to Attractions Magazine, Disney has confirmed that development on both the previously-announced “Mary Poppins”-themed attraction and the reimagining of Spaceship Earth have been postponed at Epcot.

It was noticed by many today at the reopening of EPCOT that both the Spaceship Earth refurbishment and the Mary Poppins attraction have both been removed from the video. The EPCOT Experience is located in the Odyssey Events Pavilion in Future World between Test Track and the Mexico Pavilion. Walt Disney Imagineering created this to give guests an inside look into EPCOT’s historic transformation, including attractions and upcoming projects.

Disney has officially stated that they are evaluating long-term projects and they have made the decision to postpone the development of the Mary Poppins attraction, as well as the refurbishment for Spaceship Earth.

“As with most businesses during this period, we are further evaluating long-term project plans. The decision was made to postpone development of the “Mary Poppins”-inspired attraction and Spaceship Earth at this time.”
