The veil of secrecy surrounding Disney’s hotly anticipated Star Wars Lands was lifted last night, giving the media its first look at the next generation addition to Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
The announcement is so big, that it’s gotten its own pavilion — Star Wars: A Galaxy of Stories.
The Star Wars Land expansion is the largest single land expansion in the company’s history, and you can tell by the model that was presented. It positively dwarfs previous expansions such as Pandora – The World of Avatar, and should provide guests with a fully immersive experience.

They also provided a walk around of the pavilion, which shows off a variety of models of creatures, props and vehicles…
Some of what can be seen include a new trackless ride system for an attraction known simply as “Battle Escape.”

Star Wars Land will absolutely be a game changer for Disney, and might be the “Potter killer” they’ve been looking for.
You’d better book a 2019 trip to Disneyland or Walt Disney World now, because when it comes to anticipated crowds, I have have feeling about this…
