I remember when I was a little girl and I watched Disney’s Beauty and the Beast I was so overwhelmed and in awe (and incredibly jealous may I add) by the Beast’s library in his castle that he gifted to Belle. I have always been a voracious reader since I was a little girl and so I always identified strongly with Belle. Till this day, she still remains my favorite Disney princess and my goal in life is to have a library just like hers.
That’s why when I heard that the new Disney Wish Cruise Ship will feature Belle’s library I got beyond excited! The “castle on the sea” cruise ship is one of the most beautiful cruise ship I’ve ever seen and I love the fact that many Disney Princesses are going to get their own themed parts throughout the ship. It’s especially a dream come true that Belle’s library will be coming to Disney’s Oceaneers Club onboard the Disney Wish!
The official announcement from the Disney Parks Blog reads:
So far, we’ve only explored our adult-exclusive spaces on the Disney Wish, but we’ve designed something equally as special just for kids! At Disney’s Oceaneer Club, young princes and princesses will be invited to explore Belle’s library as part of the royal trio of activity rooms in Fairytale Hall. There, kids will act out some of their favorite stories with Disney friends. And who knows? They might just meet the courageous princess – an avid book reader herself!
Umm, I’m a kid at heart so can I explore the library? No official photos have been released of Belle’s library at the Disney’s Oceaneer Club but it’s one spot on the cruise ship I can hardly wait to see! This will be an amazing spot for big kids like me who hold a special place for Belle and her library of stories, but especially for parents and their kids. It will truly be a once in a lifetime experience to be in the middle of a Beauty and the Beast story, possibly reading a tale as old as time with Belle herself!
