Happy Monday Insiders! We recently reported that the Disney College Program will be returning this June at Walt Disney World! This morning, the Disney College Program also announced that they will be offering gender-neutral housing to their program participants.
The update on the Disney Programs website today reads:
Gender-neutral housing provides our program participants, based on availability, the option to live and roommate link with whomever they choose, regardless of their gender. Please note, only participants who choose to live in gender-neutral apartments will be assigned to these apartments.
Gender-neutral housing refers to a housing option in which program participants are given the opportunity to share their apartment with other participants, regardless of their gender, no matter if they are members of the LGBTQ+ community or not. All participants are given the option to choose gender-neutral housing when they are in the process of registering.
Disney College Program participants will not automatically be placed in a gender-neutral apartments unless they indicate that they would be comfortable residing in gender-neutral housing.
