Believe it or not, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, The Disney Wish, is tuned in to adult exclusive offerings more than you may know. We are here to tell you our five favorites that will make your experience one to remember forever.
1. The Rainforest Room
Welcome to this indoor & outdoor paradise located in the Senses Spa on Deck 5 Fwd. Heated loungers, steam/ice rooms, swings, daybeds, aromatic showers, hot tea station and pools — what more could an adult want? Purchasing a day pass as soon as you get onboard is our Insider Tip. The price fluctuates based on the cruise, but during our 3-night sailing with Academy Travel the cost was $179.00 for the duration & $79.00 for the day. Truly, this spa took our breath away. It’s the most tranquil space to enjoy some time tucked away from the busy decks. The best part is the all day access, so you can come and go as much as you’d like during the spa hours. Passes are limited, so that the experience remains exclusive.
2. Cove Cafe
Cove Café is the most serene spot {and Moana themed} for specialty coffee drinks and tea. Located on Deck 13 Aft and tucked away in the beautiful 18 & over space, there is some of the best lattes, cappuccinos and adult beverages at sea. With inviting indoor & outdoor seating it’s the perfect place to start your morning or kick off your afternoon. Some of our favorites – Brew Fashion (a cold brew cocktail), Caramel Iced Latte & of course, a Hot Latte…because they always come with a little surprise from Drink Ripples on top. Another Insider Tip: in the morning, ask for a croissant with jam. They are SO fluffy + fresh! Beverages are an additional cost, but ask for a loyalty card — once you purchase 5 drinks your 6th one is FREE.
3. Palo & Enchante
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement: inspired by Beauty & The Beast serving French-inspired cuisine. Starting at $125.00 per person. Enjoy fine dining for dinner or a champagne brunch + 5-course dessert only meal.
Palo Steakhouse: inspired by Cogsworth from Beauty & The Beast serving Italian & modern steakhouse cuisine. Starting at $45.00 per person. Reservations are available for brunch or dinner. We enjoyed the brunch for $45.00 per adult. You can enjoy an endless amount of breakfast & lunch while enjoying the views of Nassau (3 & 4 night cruises) or the sea (4 night cruises). There was not one thing we wouldn’t have ordered again — that’s how good the menu was. Each meal comes with a complimentary champagne or mimosa and additional beverages can be ordered while you enjoy your meal for a nominal fee. When it comes to the menu…you can enjoy anything from pancakes to ravioli, croissants to soup and the servers are wonderful making sure your meal is timed out just right. My favorite part was confirming that the food truly tasted as good as it looked. This is something I wouldn’t miss on any Disney cruise, but especially the Wish. The venue is beautiful, sleek and perfectly themed. ***Check out our full brunch experience on YouTube by clicking here!
Both restaurants can be booked before boarding through the DCL Navigator App or through Guest Services once you board. We highly recommend both experiences to elevate your cruise!
4. Nightingale’s
Nightingale’s is one of the best spots for pre or post dinner drinks on the Disney Wish. The best part of the location is how close it’s located to the Grand Hall. Close enough to the action, but far enough to enjoy an adult exclusive fairytale setting. This bar is inspired by Cinderella’s rendition of “Sing Sweet Nightingale.” The pearlescent bubble chandelier & music note touches are so intentional. The music was enjoyable and the pianist added a special touch to be remembered. We tried the Butterfly from the Smoke Bubbles menu: Bombay Sapphire, Butterfly Pea Tea, Citrus. Delicious!! The beverage names are so clever and if you love Cinderella like us, you’ll want to check this out.
5. Serenity Bay Cabana Massage
Start your Castaway Cay morning off by a visit to Serenity Bay for a massage on Disney’s Private Island. The Adult Only area is already so relaxing, but taking advantage of this open-air cabana with the most perfect view of the crystal blue water was truly unforgettable. All spa appointments can be booked before you board through the DCL app OR booked when you get onboard by visiting Senses Spa located on Deck 5 Fwd. The cost for the one hour service was $179.00 per person before 18% gratuity. We would highly recommend if you are looking to add some extra to your day!!
