Disney Is Going BIG for D23 2026, From TVA Missions to a Princess Concert

Disney is rolling out the blue carpet (and then some!) for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim this August!

The company has revealed plans for what it says will be the largest show floor in D23 history, packing the Anaheim Convention Center with interactive worlds, previews, collectibles, talent appearances, and enough photo ops to keep fan cameras busy all weekend.

D23 runs August 14–16, 2026, with the festivities beginning a day early at Disneyland Resort. On Thursday, August 13, D23 Day will include a Disney Legends Cavalcade at Disneyland Park, a Mickey ear hat giveaway while supplies last, and the return of the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party at Disney California Adventure.

The night’s headline event is Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration. The limited-capacity show will bring together Disney Princess performers from animation, live action, theater, and music, with projections, fountains, and a major dose of royal spectacle. Fans who can’t make it to the park will be able to catch the concert on Disney+ and across Disney’s TV networks on August 16.

Once the convention doors open, fans will have plenty to explore. Marvel Studios is inviting guests into a new Time Variance Authority walkthrough, while Lucasfilm will bring props, costumes, and filmmaker conversations from the Star Wars galaxy. A special screening of LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian is also on the schedule.

Animation fans may want to budget extra time for the Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios space. Pixar’s 40th anniversary will be part of the celebration, alongside artist demonstrations, signings, giveaways, and looks at upcoming titles including Frozen 3, Gatto, Hexed, and Incredibles 3.

The Disney+ and Hulu area is taking a more theatrical route, with a 4D theater and experiences inspired by titles ranging from Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Only Murders in the Building to The Simpsons, Camp Rock 3, and Marvel’s VisionQuest. Elsewhere, guests can enter the glowing world of Pandora, see a preview of the touring Mundo Pixar exhibition, and — reservations required — meet Bluey and Bingo.

Disney Parks fans will find a big draw in Imagineering: Horizons, a newly expanded pavilion focused on projects and ideas shaping Disney destinations around the world. The Walt Disney Archives will also offer a rare behind-the-scenes peek with Uncrated, an exhibit featuring props, costumes, and puppets from the company’s vast collection.

There’s more than fandom on the agenda. The Disney VoluntEARS pavilion will give attendees a chance to assemble thousands of kits for Make-A-Wish, Blue Star Families, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation over the three-day event.

And yes, shopping will be serious business! Topps, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Loungefly, Hasbro, Crocs, Pandora, and other brands are lining up exclusives, collectibles, and interactive booths. Chevrolet, Heinz, Honda, and M&M’S will also bring themed installations to the show floor.

Talent Central is returning with artists, Imagineers, authors, and cast members from shows including Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Proud Family, Phineas & Ferb, The Simpsons, and Dancing with the Stars. The Spotlight Stage, presented by Fandango, will add live interviews, performances, and hands-on lessons in everything from voice acting to sketching.

For Disney devotees, D23 2026 is shaping up to be less like a convention and more like a three-day jump through the company’s many worlds…with a little pixie dust, a few trading cards, and probably a very full tote bag!
