According to C21 Media, the Disney Channel US, has just ordered a television pilot and additional episodes for a new live-action series featuring talking animals.

Set to be called Pup Academy, the new show will premier in summer of 2019, and will chronicle the adventures of taking pups as they attend a secret school for puppies to learn how to become “man’s best friends.”

Disney has ordered this new series from Air Bud Entertainment, known for their famous Air Bud and Air Buddies films. Pup Academy has Ana McRoberts as the creator and executive producer, and Robert Vince, CEO of Air Bud Entertainment, as executive producer and directer on the new show.

It looks like this new show is in good hands, as they have a lot of previous experience in this genre. Plus, my kids always loved the Air Buddies films. I’m sure my daughter will be all about this new Disney Channel show!
