Disney Removes Iconic Beams from the Great Ceremonial House Rooftop

Construction has begun at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

All of the guest rooms will receive a makeover, but perhaps the building with the biggest change is the iconic Great Ceremonial House.

Today, Disney construction crews began removing the beams from the Ceremonial House’s roof. Twitter used, @bioreconstruct, shared the below images on their Twitter feed:

It’s important to note that during this time, the monorail to EPCOT from the TTC is o it if service. There are also temporary check-in desks set up in the Pago Pago building.
