If you are like me and have been eagerly awaiting news of Merriest Nites details over at Disneyland, then you will also be disappointed to learn that the merriest Christmas event of the season has been canceled. Journalist Scott Gustin took to Twitter today to make the announcement.
NEW: Disney Merriest Nites will not return to Disneyland Resort this year. Last year, the after-hours party was held at Disneyland on 5 select nights in Nov. and Dec. pic.twitter.com/t49jicGIPn

I attended Merriest Nites last year, and had a jolly good time watching the Muppets sing Christmas carols, try themed food, take pictures with special characters in their holiday finest, and so much more! While it’s disappointing to learn that the event won’t be returning this year, fear not because Disneyland has so much holiday fun in store for guests this holiday season, which you can read all about here!
Disneyland Resort will once again transform into The Merriest Place on Earth for the holiday season, Nov. 11, 2022, through Jan. 8, 2023!
