Calling all Disney foodies! Disneyland recently came out with some new spring and summer treats, so naturally, it’s time to eat our way through the park. From bright, fruity desserts to savory seasonal snacks and refreshing drinks perfect for warmer weather, Disneyland’s spring and summer menus are packed with limited-time treats that look almost as good as they taste. We recently sampled some of the newest offerings around the resort to find out which items are worth adding to your must-try list. Grab your appetite (and maybe a few extra napkins) as we dive into the latest seasonal bites Disneyland has to offer.
Apple-Berry Hand Tart (Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe)

This is basically an upscaled version of a poptart, and it is delicious! I tried one of these before during the Halloween season that had a chocolate filling, and I felt like the pastry overwhelmed the filling. However, this new fruity one is ten times better! There is a good balance of apple and berry filling, and the frosting complements it well without being overly sugary. It is a decent size for sharing, too! 9/10 rating.
Moonliner Macaron (Alien Pizza Planet)

Disneyland has been hitting it out of the park the past few years with their new macaron creations. This one is probably my favorite chocolate one they’ve come out with. The salted caramel buttercream really balances out the ganache and brownie pieces. It’s very decadent and the perfect portion size for how sweet it is. 10/10 rating.
Chocolate Croissant Cookie (Maurice’s Treats)

I’ve been trying to get my hands on this one for the past couple of months, but the line at Maurice’s Treats is always so long ever since this “little” cookie came out. I had the last croissant cookie they came out with, and it was just alright. This one, however, is delicious! The chocolate filling really elevates it, so you’re not just eating a flat croissant coated in sugar. This thing is also HUGE, so it’s definitely shareable. I tore it in half, and it took me two days to eat it all. 8/10 rating.
Pineapple Cake (Plaza Inn)
Pineapple Cake with Crushed Pineapple Filling, Pineapple Mousse, and Pineapple Buttercream, topped with Cherries
Dare I say this is the BEST cake I’ve ever had at Disneyland? This cake is moist, and the pineapple buttercream with crushed pineapple is decadent and absolutely heavenly. I will be dreaming about this cake for the rest of my life and already can’t wait to go back to the park for another slice. If you like DOLE Whip, this is basically the cake version, and you really don’t want to miss out on trying it. 10/10 rating.
