Exciting news for a Disneyland Hotel! Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will soon be reimagined with a new theme-Pixar! The hotel’s transformation will weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting. Disney explains that “Guests will gain a new perspective on some of their favorite Pixar worlds and characters through carefully curated artwork, and décor that reveals the creative journey of the artists who helped bring these stories to life.” Guests can look forward to being welcomed into whimsical character moments, like the iconic, playful Pixar Lamp balancing atop its ball in the lobby.
This will be a wonderful new theme that will bring back some life to this hotel as it hasn’t changed much since it opened back in 1984. What’s even more exciting for this hotel is that a walkway is currently under construction, soon giving guests an entrance to Disney California Adventure park! This makes getting to the parks from this hotel even more convenient as guests already enjoy access to Disney California Adventure park directly through Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa entrance, and Disneyland Hotel guests have convenient Monorail access.
There’s no news on when construction for this re-imagining will begin, so stay tuned for more updates!
