Good news for fans of the candy that melts in your mouth, and not in your hand! According to Patrick McIntyre, head of global retail for Mars Retail Group, despite challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, the M&M Store is still scheduled to open in 2020 at Disney Springs!

The M&M’s store is currently in the process of moving out of its Florida Mall location, and into the new Disney Springs location. It’s been in the Florida Mall since 2005 and was just the second location of its kind when it opened.

In an email, McIntyre said Mars has put in place signs to promote physical distancing, hand sanitizing stations, and a reduced guest capacity restriction. They are confident they can reopen locations, and open the Disney Springs location while providing a safe environment for their employees and guests of the store.

We’re excited to see what the new Disney Springs location will be like, it’s been reported that the store will feature more than 100 tubes with M&M’s for customers to pick out what sweets they want to buy, the ability to personalize candy with messages or pictures, and dance parties with M&M’s characters!
