Bringing kids, especially little ones, to a Disney Park can be a bit overwhelming as there is so much preparation involved. Just a day trip takes a lot of planning because you have to put a bag together and make sure you have all the essentials. Parents, you all know you just have to be prepared for it all! If you’re planning your first trip to Walt Disney World or Disneyland with your little ones, or you’ve only been a few times, you may be a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out everything that you should pack. Here’s where we step in a help you out a bit! We have compiled a list of necessities, as well as some suggestions, of items you should pack for your day in the park.
- sunblock/hats/sunglasses
- diapers (if you have toddlers!)
- wet wipes
- hand sanitizer
- snacks and water bottles (think about taking small tumblers so you can refill those throughout the day!)
- extra set of clothes (in case there’s any spit up/throw up, you get wet on rides, etc.)
- snacks for in between meals or food if you don’t plan on eating park food
- sweaters for the evening if going during hot weather season
- rain ponchos/umbrella if rain is in the forecast
- any prescription meds, if needed
- autograph books and a pen
And those are our suggestions! You don’t want to overdo it too much, so you’re not overloaded all day, but you do want to be prepared with the essentials and then some.
