EPCOT has 11 pavilions that showcase different countries around the world, each one unique and offering up cultural food, drinks, and shopping. It can be overwhelming knowing where the best spots are to eat and drink, what you need to see, and what you can skip. Over the next few weeks, I will feature one pavilion a week and show you Insiders what there is to see and do and eat in each country. It will be so much fun, and I can’t wait to take all of you Insiders on this exploration! So far, we have explored Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, American Adventure (U.S.), Japan…and now, Morocco!
The one word I have to describe the Morocco pavilion is exotic. It’s one of my favorite pavilions in the World Showcase at EPCOT because it’s one of those places where you truly feel as though you have walked into another country. The colors and the atmosphere are breathtakingly beautiful, the food is mouthwateringly delicious, and the shopping is so much fun. It’s a place full of magic and adventure where around every corner you feel as though a magic carpet or genie lamp lays in wait just for you!

Dining
One of the fun parts about traveling to another country is trying the food, drinks, and sweets. The Morocco pavilion is not lacking when it comes to all this! At Oasis Sweet & Sips you can delight in delectable treats like Pistachio Baklava and Almond Crescent Cookies, as well as exotic drinks—Frozen Cocktails, Sangria, and more. Non-Alcoholic Beverages are also available.

Spice Road Table is a gorgeous, open-air sit-down restaurant that is a fan favorite amongst Disney and EPCOT fans. Here, you can treat your tastebuds to the flavors of the Mediterranean as you unwind in the ambiance of a picturesque waterfront view. Enjoy Mediterranean small plates—like spicy shrimp, fried calamari, naan spreads, and the Spice Road Table sampler—while absorbing the décor inspired by outdoor cafés from the Moroccan seaside.

Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina is a quick-service spot that serves up seasonal traditional Moroccan cuisine, including authentic grilled kebabs.

Shopping
Souk-al-Magreb is a magical waterfront market that sells exotic souvenirs. You can find hand-crafted keepsakes, jewelry, a selection of toys, and gorgeous traditional clothing. I bought a box of Turkish Delight candy when I visited this shop a few years back, and it was incredibly delicious and something really neat to take home for either yourself or a loved one!

Attractions
The one attraction you will find in the Morocco pavilion is the Gallery of Arts and History. This is super interesting and fun to check out, especially if you’re a history buff! Here, you can discover what it takes to compete and thrive in the challenging Sahara in “Race Against the Sun: Ancient Technique to Modern Competition.” The exhibit offers unique perspectives of life in the Saraha and explores the fascinating story of Morocco’s indigenous people and showcases 2 modern-day extreme race events.

Entertainment
If you’re looking for a bit of entertainment in Morocco, Atlas Fusion is a fantastic Moroccan band that will have you partying away!

Be sure to stay tuned for next week because I will be taking you on an exploration of the next pavilion in the World Showcase at EPCOT-France!
