Yesterday, the Disney Parks Blog posted some amazing pictures of new treats popping up in the Magic Kingdom.
Let’s take a look!
Flower Crown Cupcake
This delightful cupcake reminds me of Spring and it’s available at the Main Street Bakery.
It’s a vanilla cupcake filled with raspberry buttercream and topped with a buttercream crown and hard candy Minnie ears.
Mint Julip Lemonade Slushy and the Hot Dog of the Month
Both of these treats can be found on Main Street as well, at Casey’s Corner.
The Mint Julip Lemonade Slushy is non-alcoholic and is made with mojito-flavored syrup and garnished with cherry, mint, and lemon.
The Hot Dog of the Month varies and in April you can try the Cuban Hot Diggity Dog. This yummy hot do g is topped with Mojo pork, swiss, relish and mustard.
April Flavors of the Month at the Plazas
The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street U.S.A. will be offering a yummy Cookie Dough ice cream as their April flavor of the month. If you go to the Plaza Restaurant you an grab the Milkshake of the Month. For April it will be Caramel Turtle. This milkshake features vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, caramel sauce, and walnuts. YUM!
Italian Cream Cake and Grilled Cheese Flatbread
If you move on to Fantasyland you can stop at Pinocchio Village Haus to try their new Italian Cream Cake. It’s a lemon cake topped with cream cheese icing and toasted coconut. It also has a white chocolate Jiminy Cricket!
For their Flatbread of the Month offering Pinocchio’s will be offering a Grilled Cheese Flatbread for April, in honor of Grilled Cheese Month. This yummy dish is made with a bunch of cheeses including: ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, swiss and cheddar! It also comes with a side of tomoto-basil soup.
Dessert Trio from Be Our Guest
Everyone is buzzing about this one. It’s so cute! This summer Be Our Guest is switching over to a new dinner menu this summer. This adorable dessert trio is being added. It will feature a raspberry macaron with lemon filling and fresh raspberries. There is also an Amarena cherry dipped in dark chocolate with hazelnuts. Finally, the cutest thing to hit Disney desserts, a white chocolate Chip cup with the Grey Stuff. So cute!
New Sandwiches at Gaston’s Tavern
If you head on over to Gaston’s you can find two new sandwich offerings. First up is a Ham, Brie, and Grain Mustard Sandwich. There is also a Smoked Turkey, Swiss, and Cranberry Aioli Sandwich.
Sonny Eclipse Cookies & Cream Cheese Cake
When you are ready to head over to Tomorrowland stop by Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe to pick up a new Sonny Eclipse cookies & cream cheese cake. This delicious treat is topped with chocolate, galaxy sprinkles, and a white chocolate Sonny Eclipse.
Shrimp Wedge Salad
Looking for something a bit lighter? Stop by the Columbia Harbour House and try the new Shrimp Wedge Salad.
Citrus Swirl and Orange Cream Swirl
Our last tasty stop is in Adventureland. Stop over at the Sunshine Tree Terrace and try either the Citrus Swirl or the new Orange Cream Swirl. The Orange Cream Swirl twists together vanilla soft-serve with Orange Dole Soft-Serve.
