Nighttime spectaculars at Disneyland are returning in just a few weeks, and I could not be more excited. It’s been over two years since guests have been able to watch nighttime shows, and it’s sure to be an emotional event for many. From April 22 to late spring, “Disneyland Forever” will perform Fridays through Sundays at 9:30 pm, and the Mickey’s Mix Magic projections-only show is scheduled Mondays through Thursdays. “Disneyland Forever” fireworks will then run nightly in the summer.
The “Disneyland Forever” firework show is an especially anticipated show, and I, for one, can’t wait for a mesmerizing mix of breathtaking pyrotechnics and jaw-dropping visual effects. It’s one of those shows that will just amaze you every second of the 14-minute runtime and leave goosebumps on your skin after the finale. During the show, you will be transported to the worlds of timeless Disney tales; you will soar over London with Peter Pan, stampede across Simba’s Pride Lands, dive down under the sea with Nemo and friends, or get caught up in a swirling snow flurry right out of Frozen!
There will be so many different places to watch this amazing show; Disneyland will use all of Main Street, U.S.A., and iconic Disneyland locations like the Matterhorn mountain, Rivers of America, and “it’s a small world” as its stage. To top off this immersive experience, Disneyland Forever features the song “Live the Magic” and the exit song “Kiss Goodnight,” the latter of which was written by Disney Legend Richard M. Sherman.
