Lumos! Something new and exciting is coming our way, that is if you’re totally obsessed with Harry Potter like I am. And I’m not referring to the new Harry Potter flagship store that opened up this past summer in New York or the new “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses” quiz show coming our way later this month. The big news is that a Harry Potter Exhibition is coming to Philadelphia in February of 2022!

Per the Wizarding World website:

This all-new innovative behind-the-scenes exhibition, which explores the films and stories of Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and Cursed Child, is set to tour globally in Latin America, the Asia-Pacific Region (APAC), Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) once it launches next year. The exhibition is an exciting collaboration between Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, Imagine Exhibitions and, EMC Presents and Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, which aims to bring the latest innovations in a new immersive design and spellbinding technology to fans across the world.

Those Potterheads lucky enough to get to go to the exhibition will discover unique environments and newly created installations, themed around favorite Wizarding World characters, locations and moments. There will be authentic props and costumes from the films on display and of course many more magical surprises!

“This exhibition will be unlike any other Wizarding World touring exhibition,” said Peter van Roden, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment. “The inclusion of technology, attention to detail and integration of magical touches created by our partners at Imagine Exhibitions is truly unique. We are elated to be launching the world tour at the Franklin Institute and for fans to be able to have another way to experience the Wizarding World.”

The all-new Harry Potter: The Exhibition will be held at the Franklin Institute. If you’re interested in purchasing tickets, click here.
