Looks like the haunts aren’t so happy…
Since Tuesday, March 3rd, the Haunted Mansion has been closed. Cast Members are calling it “unexpected downtime.”
While nothing has been confirmed, guests who initially evacuated on Tuesday, have said the doombuggy vehicles failed to recline backwards on their descent from the Haunted Mansion attic and into the cemetery. Basically, the ride vehicles were facing forward on the down ramp.
According to the My Disney Experience App, as of right now, the attraction remains closed. Guests of the park have said that a handful of Guest Relations Cast Members have stated the ride could be down for several more days.
It goes without saying, this hasn’t been the best week for Magic Kingdom attractions. I’m hoping my favorite attraction can be fixed ASAP, it’s a classic and one of my must-do’s!
