‘Hawkeye’ Coming to Disney+ November 24!

If you are a Marvel fan, get ready for some exciting news! Disney+ has unveiled plans to launch Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye series with two episodes upon its November 24 debut. Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, was always in my opinion a very underrated Avenger and throughout all the Marvel films I was hoping they’d give him his own movie or series and dive deeper into his story to get to know his family and understand his relationship with the Romanoffs a little more. Now it seems we will get the chance to get to know this character more in just a little over a month!

Per Deadline:

Hawkeye is an original new series set in post-blip New York City, where former Avenger Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas.

But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a 22-year-old skilled archer and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy.
From the trailer we can see that the series will take place around Christmas-time which is perfect for the end of November premiere date. After the debut, subsequent episodes will be out each Wednesday. It will be a shorter series with just six episodes with the last one landing on December 29 before the New Year.
Black Widow’s Yelena Belova (played by Florence Pugh), is confirmed to appear as well which will probably tie into how the Black Widow movie ended with the Contessa giving Yelena an assignment at her sister’s grave (the picture gave away that the assignment would be to take down Hawkeye). The cast also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Free, and Tony Dalton. We haven’t been let down by a Disney+ Marvel series yet. Another not well known and underrated character, Wanda Maximoff, also got her due recognition earlier this year in “WandaVision”, so we hope to see Hawkeye get the same sort of well earned success and recognition!
How excited are you for the new Hawkeye series on Disney+?!
